Sixty five riders enjoyed a sunny Sunday on the Overton 100, Danebury 150 and Stonehenge 200k Audax events based at Elstead Village Hall. Many thanks to those members for helping to make the event a great success.
The Club’s major event of the year takes place in under two months, and marshals are required in order to record the attendance of riders at all control points on the route. If you are able to help and wish to volunteer, please e-mail me on johnmatsouthview@btinternet.com, specifying whether you would prefer an early, mid, or late, slot. An e-mail with further information has also been sent to all members who are included in the e-mail lists for each individual ride group. Thank you John Murdoch
The Orchard Barn Café, Churt is due to close permanently on the 12.7.2019. Sad, as it was a rather nice place where I felt welcome whenever I dropped by for a fry-up breakfast.

The Elstead Audaxes [200,150 and 100km] will be held on Sunday 21st July and are run by our club from Elstead Village Hall. I should like a helper for serving hot drinks at the start and preparing cold food for the finish. Also, a helper to sign-in the finishers for the 100km event [from 1.30 to 5.00].
